The current keeper has owned this 2.0-litre turbocharged Celica GT-Four since 2019, and it underwent an extensive restoration just over 2500 miles ago. Its odometer shows 126,900 miles and the MoT is valid until 11th June 2026. The car was first registered on 30th October 1990, and paperwork includes a good collection of MoT certificates and various invoices, original Toyota leaflets and the V5C. It was recorded as a Category C ("extensively damaged but repairable") loss in 2003 but received a VIC pass later the same year.

A list of new replacement parts fitted during the restoration is included in the history file. This includes a Stage 3 Exedy clutch, lightweight flywheel, pedal box, head gasket, timing belt pulley and tensioners, engine block core plugs, silicone hoses, various sensors, water pump and other auxiliaries, uprated aluminium radiator, all-new brakes, plugs and leads, various suspension and anti-roll bar bushes, a full stainless exhaust from the turbo back, Momo steering wheel, new alloy wheels and tyres, and a Clifford alarm system, along with a full professional re-spray.

In the vendor's words: “A true icon of Toyota's performance and motorsport pedigree, the Celica GT-Four (ST185) was developed as a homologation model for the World Rally Championship. Powered by the legendary 2.0-litre turbocharged 3S-GTE engine with full-time all-wheel drive, the GT-Four delivered exceptional grip and performance both on road and stage. Highly sought-after by enthusiasts and collectors alike, the ST185 represents a golden era of Japanese performance engineering.”
